Ecosystem Notice: Reminder to Verify Unsolicited CC Transaction Requests
Hello everyone,
We wanted to share a general reminder for the ecosystem to exercise caution with unsolicited outreach related to large CC purchases, sales, lending, locking, or other transactions, especially when the outreach occurs through informal channels such as Telegram or direct messages.
The Canton Foundation does not broker, endorse, or verify private CC transactions between third parties. Any such discussions should be handled through your own legal, compliance, risk, and counterparty review processes.
As a reminder, please:
- Verify the identity of any counterparty through known, trusted channels before engaging.
- Do not rely solely on Telegram handles, direct messages, or forwarded introductions.
- Do not share private keys, seed phrases, credentials, validator access, or sensitive operational information.
- Be cautious of urgency, unusual transaction structures, requests to bypass normal diligence, or pressure to move quickly.
- Use appropriate legal, compliance, and operational review before entering into any transaction.
