TERMS OF SERVICE
Terms of use
1. What CCPEDIA is
CCPEDIA is a free, read-only aggregator that pulls publicly available content from several Canton Network sources into one place, CIPs (canton-foundation/cips), the Canton forum, the cip-discuss and globalSyncForum mailing lists, Splice and Daml docs, official whitepapers, blog and release announcements, and lets you search and ask questions across all of them with an AI assistant ("Cippy").
CCPEDIA is run by Unity Nodes as a convenience for the community. It is not affiliated with the Canton Foundation, the Global Synchronizer Foundation, Digital Asset, or any other organization in the official Canton ecosystem.
By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't, please don't use it.
2. Source content stays with its owners
Every CIP, forum post, mailing message, doc page and announcement displayed on CCPEDIA belongs to its original author or publisher. We aggregate and re-display it under fair-use / community-knowledge principles and always link back to the source. Nothing on CCPEDIA transfers copyright or grants new rights to anyone.
The CCPEDIA layout, design, and original code (the aggregator itself) is © 2026 Unity Nodes.
3. AI answers are drafts, not advice
Cippy answers are generated by large language models grounded in the indexed sources. They can be wrong, out of date, or misread the source. Always click through the citations and read the original. Do not rely on Cippy for financial, legal, tax, regulatory, or production-critical decisions.
4. Acceptable use
Please don't:
- Hammer the AI endpoint with scrapers, bots, or scripted bulk queries.
- Try to bypass rate limits or other technical safeguards.
- Submit other people's personal data, secrets, or confidential material.
- Use the site to produce illegal or harmful content.
We may block traffic that violates this without notice.
5. No warranty, no liability
The site is provided "as is". We don't guarantee uptime, accuracy, completeness, or fit for any purpose. To the maximum extent allowed by law, Unity Nodes is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the site, including decisions made based on Cippy answers.
6. Changes
We may modify or shut down any part of the service at any time. We don't commit to preserving historical content, indexes, or AI behaviour.
