GLOSSARY / Canton terms

Plain-language definitions for the terms CCPEDIA uses on the dashboard, radar, and CIPs. Where a term is Canton's own vocabulary, the definition quotes or closely paraphrases the official Canton Network glossary; where it's a market metric or one of our own features, that's labeled instead of dressed up as an official term.

CIP

Canton Improvement Proposal. A formal technical document defining standards, protocols, and upgrades for the Canton Network, similar to Ethereum’s EIPs. Goes through Draft, Review, Final, and other statuses before adoption.
