One of the most used stablecoins in the world, the USDC token, is now available on the Canton Network!
Circle and Digital Asset have partnered to bring USDC to the Canton Network via the xReserve solution. These pages describe how to technically stand up and then use the xReserve solution in order move USDC to and from the Canton Network.
Circle and Digital Asset have partnered to bring one of the most used stablecoins in the world, the USDC token, to the Canton Network via the xReserve solution. These pages describe how to technically stand up and then use the xReserve solution in order move USDC to and from the Canton Network.
Conversely a withdrawal (burn) request for a USDC token on the Canton Network will result in the release of the USDC on the destination L1 chain to the user’s specified address on that chain.
USDC on Canton Network represents USDC locked by Circle on the original L1 chain. Furthermore USDC on Canton Network is in the form of a Canton Network Standard Token (CIP-0056).
