Milestone 1: Design, Community Alignment & CIP

Deliverables / Value Metrics:

• Finalized DAML interface specification, including versioning strategy (data model versioning and Standard versioning)
• Documented alignment sessions with Cumberland, Digital Asset and at least 2 oracle providers.
• Reference implementation: at least one producer (oracle) and one consumer (application) example, validated against Kaiko's live oracle deployment (Broadridge, Bitsafe, NCFX)
• CIP submitted and approved

Ecosystem value: The CIP approval date and the number of external parties who have reviewed and provided documented feedback on the specification prior to submission. A Standard that reflects multi-party input at draft stage is significantly more likely to be adopted broadly.
