Milestone 2: DEX Reference Implementation and Enabler Libraries

Reference Implementations:

  • Reference Implementation 1: Privacy-Preserving DEX: Working reference code, architecture documentation, demo front-end, and threat model.

Contracts Library:

  • Vaults
  • Modular Hooks
  • Roles Based Access Control
  • Timelock and Pause

Security:

  • Security audits of Milestone 1 library code (audit report published)
  • Security reviews and penetration tests of DEX Reference Implementation
  • Continuous coverage and AI-Security Agent

Developer Enablement (included):

  • Marketing and community activations
  • Dedicated Technical Account Manager
  • Leadership meeting

Acceptance Criteria:

  • DEX Reference Implementation demonstrable on LocalNet/DevNet: pool creation, liquidity provision, swap execution, and fee collection.
  • Demo front-end functional for core DEX flows.
  • Architecture documentation includes integration patterns for custody, compliance, and risk management systems.
  • Threat model identifies and documents attack vectors specific to DEX on Canton.
  • Vault, Hooks, RBAC, and Timelock/Pause library components pass \>90% code coverage with full CI integration.
  • Educational materials on building DeFi protocols on Canton published alongside the RI.
  • M1 security audit report published with all critical and high findings resolved.
