Gate has enabled deposits and withdrawals of USDCx on Canton Network, giving its users access to the Canton-native stablecoin across trading and asset management on the platform. USDCx is a stablecoin issued natively on Canton Network and backed 1:1 by USDC, with reserves held within the Circle xReserve smart contract. As a CIP-56 compliant asset, it is interoperable with applications, wallets, and trading venues across the Canton ecosystem. To mark the integration, Gate has launched a series of incentive campaigns with a combined reward pool of $150,000 worth of CC, Canton Network's native token. The CandyDrop campaign focuses on CC spot trading and first-trade tasks, with a reward pool of 396,360 CC valued at approximately $50,000. A separate USDCx Deposit Challenge offers users who complete USDCx deposits via Canton Network a share of an additional $50,000 in CC rewards. On the savings side, Gate Simple Earn has introduced two fixed-term CC products. The 30-day option carries a 20% APY with a maximum allocation of 450,000 CC, while the 60-day product offers 30% APY with a maximum allocation of 150,000 CC. Rewards per user are capped at the equivalent of 1,000 USDT.
