Squid Intents is now live on Canton , making it easier to move supported assets into the network and swap assets already on it. The launch connects Canton with supported assets on 30 chains. On Squid’s Canton page , users can swap to and from CC, USDCx and other assets deployed on Canton. Squid also lists CBTC and tokenized commodities, including gold and silver, among the available options. Squid brings swapping and bridging into the same service. Users choose the asset they want to send and the one they want to receive, while Squid handles the route between them. Within Canton, the launch adds new liquidity for CC swaps, with more token listings planned. This gives users another way to reach CC and trade assets without leaving the Squid flow. Send Wallet has already integrated Squid . The connection uses CIP-103 , Canton’s common standard for compatible wallets and applications. Put simply, it gives wallets and apps a shared way to connect without requiring a separate custom setup for every pairing. The Canton Foundation has also confirmed the integration . Canton developers can add the same service to their own products through Squid’s ready-made widget , API or SDK . They can embed a standard swap interface or build the routing more deeply into an application. The release brings cross-chain routes, CC liquidity, wallet support and developer tools together in one launch, giving both users and applications a more direct way into Canton.
