  From my read, the clock doesn't start until after D3 is accepted so, presuming D3 never happens...D4 never expires?  If so, it could be helpful to have an absolute date where these expire to make sure it doesn't live in perpetuity?    To put it a different way, if Layer Zero never delivers then D4 never expires?   Chris
