DAML Forum Race Condition

In this post we have 2 users giving the correct response at roughly the same time, one got marked as the correct answer (despite being received later), and the other got the majority of likes (despite not being marked the correct answer).

Clearly we should re-implement the forum entirely in DAML in order to avoid this. Thoughts?

Is there a difference between `archive someContract` and `exercise someContract Archive`? Questions

I can archive a contract either by calling archive someContract or by exercise someContract Archive Is this syntactic sugar or is there a material difference between the two? If there is a difference, when should I use each?

Given that @bernhard is a much smarter person than I am, I highly recommend to always accept his answers instead of mine.

Better not to, I suspect @bernhard will propose a new ledger time model with the sole purpose of giving his own replies an edge.
