Black Lives Matter Resources
DA employees were sharing some docs internally and they’re full of information so here’s some resources if you’re curious about the movement or want more information on it.
A great list of books, charities, and events from @sarah.breckenridge:

And this one chock full of tips on how to be an ally shared by @talia.klein:

If you have any more resources feel free to share them below
Thanks for sharing, @Anthony. I hope we can all collectively work to make the DAML community a more inclusive space for all groups.
Really great list of books @sarah.breckenridge and useful tips @talia.klein, really appreciated!
heard recently this post in your list and I really like it, they have really good topics to think about https://crooked.com/podcast-series/pod-save-the-people/
Any preferred books in this list that I should read first @sarah.breckenridge @talia.klein
?
Thanks
@andreolf thanks for starting this conversation. I’m about half way through reading Ibram X. Kendi’s How To Be An Anti-Racist (https://www.amazon.com/How-Be-Antiracist-Ibram-Kendi/dp/0525509283 – note: many people in the US have been working to purchase these books from local, POC-owned bookstores…not sure if that’s an option in Zurich) and I think it’s a good place to start. Another one of my favorites is Ta Nehisi Coates’s Between the World and Me (https://www.amazon.com/Between-World-Me-Ta-Nehisi-Coates/dp/0451482212).
I also listened to this podcast yesterday, and thought our resident chef @cocreature might be interested: http://www.sporkful.com/a-reckoning-at-bon-appetit/
@andreolf I am reading How to Be Antiracist by Ibram Kendi, but Ive heard Me and White Supremacy by Layla F. Saad and White Fragility by Robin DiAngelo are powerful choices as well. All are sold out everywhere, so I recommend the e-books!
If you’re interested in listening, Ibram X. Kendi gave a great interview on how to be anti-racist on Brené Brown’s podcast a couple weeks ago:

Brené with Ibram X. Kendi on How to Be an Antiracist | Brené Brown
I'm talking with professor Ibram X. Kendi, New York Times bestselling author of How to Be an Antiracist and the Director of the Antiracist Research and Policy Center at American University.
Thanks for the recommendations! I read “How to Be an Antiracist” over the weekend and learned a lot from it.
My mind is blown that you read the entire book in a weekend and cooked all that beautiful food. I want to start a thread “@cocreature 's Top 10 Tips for Living a Productive Life”
“@cocreature 's Top 10 Tips for Living a Productive Li
We could even start @cocreature 's Top 10 Cooking Tips for a more healthy life” ![]()
