Bond structuring/lifecycling - Invalid Bond at requesting time

Hi,

Checking out the Bond package I’ve seen that there are some constraints checked regarding the schedule at lifecycling time. I wonder why these constrains are not checked at structuring time as well.

Hi Jose,

Thanks for pointing this out. I think it would make sense to check that during instrument creation as well. I have opened a ticket for it:

Currently, the contingent claims tree for dynamic instruments is only created on…-the-fly, when needed. This is generally a desired property, but it has the disadvantage that some problems (e.g. related to the schedule) are not noticed until the instrument is lifecycled. In order to solve that, we could additionally create the contingent claims tree when the instrument is created.
