Seeking a cofounder with Canton and securities infrastructure experience
Hi everyone, I’m looking for a lawyer to join me as a cofounder at Aevelum.
The ideal person has experience with some combination of Canton and Daml, DTCC and DTC, secured transactions, securities infrastructure, and bank collateral operations.
I bring prior experience founding venture-backed companies, developing products, and managing operations. The business plan, product and funding strategy, development plan, operating model, and pitch deck are prepared. Aevelum is ready to move forward with the right person.

Quick update to my earlier post: Thanks to the support we’re now in the final stages of discussions with a potential legal cofounder with deep experience relevant to the business.
We’d also welcome one additional cofounder who brings a complementary background on the banking, capital markets, and fundraising side, someone who could ultimately grow into a CFO / strategic finance leadership role.
Ideal experience would include some combination of:
- Banking or capital markets
- Fintech / financial infrastructure
- Institutional fundraising and investor relationships
- Financial strategy, modeling, and capital planning
- Relationships across banks, funds, and other financial institutions
- Experience helping build or finance an early-stage company
This would be a true cofounder role rather than simply a finance hire. We’re looking for someone who wants to help shape the company, raise the seed round, develop institutional relationships, and build alongside us from the ground up.
