Our team at Vacuumlabs developed contract automation in Canton. Useful for running automated tasks with onchain checks (number of runs, cooldown time, expiration) before execution, to be run by parties on behalf of another party, with a revokable Authorization. Currently we only support cron based executions, if there’s a need, we can look into other triggers as well. Completely self hosted, no fees.

Looking to hear if there are teams who have a need for this

## Development Fund Proposal Submission **Proposal file:** `/proposals/202…6-08-Vacuumlabs-delegated-automation-capability.md` --- ## Summary This proposal introduces a reusable delegated automation capability for Canton applications, allowing users to authorize bounded, typed automated actions without giving an automation service access to their signing credentials or principal `actAs` rights. It delivers an open source Daml authorization package, TypeScript reference runner, TestNet validation, independent ecosystem evaluation, security review, standards candidate, and 12 months of maintenance. --- ## Checklist - [x] Proposal file added under `/proposals/` - [x] Milestones and funding amounts defined - [x] Acceptance criteria included - [x] Alignment with Canton priorities described --- ## Notes for Reviewers - **Champion:** We are currently seeking a champion. We believe the proposal aligns primarily with the Daml Language & Developer Tooling SIG, with dApp Integration as a secondary review path.

This is our first proposal on Canton ecosystem, would appreciate some feedback from the community (and a champion too). We’ve also got another one in the pipeline (a DeFi primitive), that we’ll be announcing next week
