Five North and Loop Split into Separate Brands
Hi all.
Today is a big day for us at Five North. It’s the day that we are officially splitting Five North and Loop into two distinct brands.
Five North (fivenorth.io) is where the fund and our network operations sit.
Running Canton Super Validator infrastructure, building the tooling that runs it, and putting capital into teams building on Canton.
Loop (looptech.io) is where the products sit, now together as Loop Suite.
• Cantonloop is now Loop Wallet, at wallet.looptech.io.
• Lighthouse is now Loop Data, at data.looptech.io.
• Loop SDK, for teams integrating Canton into their own applications.
Nothing changes for users. Wallets and balances are untouched, and moving to the new domain is opt-in.
Loop Wallet and Loop Data were always built on the same engineering foundation. One brand reflects how we already work.
Both sites have been rebuilt from the ground up, and the SDK release required by this transition reached our partners ahead of today’s launch.
Canton’s growth depends on infrastructure that is robust, predictable and worth trusting.
That is the whole job, and it is the one we came to do as the first wallet and explorer that
was built for Canton back in August of 2025, brining in the first 100k external parties
on the network and indexing 1.5 years of transaction history.
Now that the network moved out of the bootstrap phase, we took the time
to properly present ourselves, what we do and why we do it. We hope and believe
that this is properly reflected in our products and brand.

P.S: Loop was always ment to be L++p, as a tribute to the ++ operator, a foundation of loops in programming.
