Proof of Transfer API Feature - Exposing the transfer object
DA Registry has launched the Proof of Transfer API, which lets wallet and exchange users independently verify the status of transfers for DA Registry-enabled assets without exposing confidential transaction data.
Wallets and exchanges can expose the Transfer Object for DA Registry-enabled assets, see the guide for wallet providers and exchanges to do that here. Users can then check the transaction through a compatible blockchain explorer using the transfer object to confirm whether a transfer is successful, pending, failed, or in an error state.
This new feature removes a key barrier to supporting privacy-enabled assets: exchanges can now provide users with independent transfer verification while preserving privacy, helping reduce disputes and improve user trust and confidence in their transfers. It also helps reduce disputes and simplifies exception handling.
Bybit has already integrated the API, and we urge wallet providers and exchanges to expose the transfer object to their users.
