Canton Package Analyzer: inspect cross-package interactions in your Daml DAR
- Certora7OP
Working with a Daml DAR and want to understand which packages interact?
Canton Package Analyzer is an open-source tool built by Certora with support from the Canton Foundation Development Fund. It analyzes compiled .dar files and maps cross-package create, fetch and exercise interactions.
Use it to explore dependencies in your application or inspect a third-party DAR, including when its source isn’t available. It helps you understand package interactions; it isn’t a vulnerability scanner or a substitute for an audit.
Try the tool and see the setup instructions: GitHub - Certora/daml-analyzer: Package dependency analyzer for DAML smart contracts · GitHub
We’re also hosting a 40-minute session with Canton Foundation on November 19 at 15:00 UTC (16:00 CET), covering adoption and integration challenges, followed by an analyzer demo and Q&A. No prior experience with the tool is needed.

Supported walkthroughs with Certora are available if you’d like help trying it on a package your team works with. What would you want to understand about your DAR’s dependencies?
