Vote Proposal to remove Circle weight from GSF SV based on CIP-0041
- According to CIP-0041, Circle is approved as a Weight 10 Super Validator.A board member of the GSF and employee of the entity operating the GSF node proposes a vote to reduce the weight of the GSF SV with -10 immediately. The weight increase to comply with CIP-0041 was implemented too soon, before the Circle validator node was live to mint the SV rewards. In absence of this validator node controlled by Circle, the GSF SV node has been minting more than intended. Moving forward this vote also proposes that before a vote proposal for a weight increase on the GSF node, the operator of the GSF node will share the party ID of the minting beneficiary validator node, and the extraBeneficiary config, for the other SV operators to approve. Super Validator operators confirm afterwards that all is functioning as intended. This vote will reduce the GSF node weight from 38.5--38 5000 in basis points--to 28.5, which is 28 5000 in basis pointsVotes will be submitted to decrease the GSF weight from 385000 to 285000.
