New Milestone-Based Structure for CIP Rewards

   Hi Everyone,

   As part of our continued evolution in governance and tokenomics, we’re moving forward with a milestone-based model for CIP reward allocation for SV rewards. This change reflects our desire to better align SV weight with meaningful contributions and deliverables. 

   Key updates:

   • CIPs will now require Super Validator rewards to remain unminted until milestones are completed.

   • Rewards will be minted by the Super Validator only when the Super Validator formally requests the right to mint, and demonstrates that defined milestones have been met to the Tokenomics Committee 

   • SV operators will retain full discretion to review and approve each request via the Tokenomics Group.

   We’ve asked SV operators to provide feedback on the best technical implementation path for this process. In the meantime, any new SV CIP proposals will need to follow this milestone structure.
