Canton Improvement Proposal CIP-0063 Add Kaiko as a Super Validator of Weight 6.5 has been approved by vote of the Super Validator Node Operators.
The vote eached a passing quorum on May 28, 2025 with the following tally:

- Kaiko Data Services, as a featured app, is not a single application. It's an ecosystem of services, a bit like Amazon Web Services. Within the Kaiko Data services, multiple sub-application will be iteratively launched to service the Network.
- The first sub application that will be launched this week is the Kaiko Data On-Ramp facility as part of Kaiko Data Services (in its first release).
- The Kaiko Data On-Ramp facility is referred to in the CIP-0063 per the below (wording a bit adjusted as part of the launch to actually name the services) :
- All 4 criteria are met (cf. onchain.kaiko.com/Canton). Criteria 3 is met as Kaiko is a design partner to DA on its collateral mobility initiatives and is the player providing the marks. The initiative is in R&D, and DA are being onboarded on Test/Dev Net (in PROD the feed will be consumed by the Collateral users, not DA themselves).
In the few weeks to come, more of the deliveries for Kaiko will be presented to unlock the points.
