    Hello,

The Tokenomics Committee in conjunction with the Technology and Operations Committee has worked out a process to ensure technical capabilities of new validator onboarding for node operators.

All node operators that want to operate validator nodes on behalf of others must meet with the Technology and Operations Committee to demonstrate their ability to:
      1. Safely secure validator keys & operate sufficient KMS
      2. Have disaster recovery procedures in place
      3. Use existing wallet solutions (for example, Bron, Copper, DFNS, etc) or KMS systems to give customers control of the keys for their parties hosted on multi-tenant validators
      4. Operate at least one node each on DevNet, TestNet and MainNet on a continuous basis, including performing upgrades correctly.
The Technology and Operations Committee will make a recommendation, from an engineering point of view, if all the above have been satisfied, to the Tokenomics working group.

Existing node operators that have a history of operating multiple nodes for themselves and others should be grandfathered in for this review period-unless they have been found in fault of some of the previous guidelines from the Tokenomics working group, and/or need to demonstrate a capability such as ability to support multi-tenancy.

Please email support@... if you would like to be added to the next Tech + Ops meeting (July 14th 9am EDT).
