    Hello,
The Voting representatives in the Tokenomics working group of the GSF have awarded the following additional Validator node allocations for MainNet:

Please note that these allocations are associated with a total cap of 450 standalone Validator nodes on the network, separate from the 13 Validator nodes contained inside Super Validator nodes.

Receiving an allocation does not reserve a slot on MainNet; if a Validator does not join before the 450 cap, the Validator may need to wait for the next allocation to be announced.

What does it mean by the above text? Can we onboard node to MainNet at our discretion for our +10 nodes allocation (for the validator that has approved but not having a slot allocate to them yet).

  7. #7Wayne Collier12-08-2025source ↗
    Hi, Vinh

You can start onboarding nodes within your allocation, at your discretion.

    The text means:

It's possible that there could be more than 450 slots allocated, but the cap could still hold at 450.

Not every Validator with an allocation ends up spinning up their nodes. But if we reach the cap of 450, then Validators who have not used their allocation by that time might have to wait for the next round.

This is the same way the cap worked at 200 Validators.

    Hello,
The Voting representatives in the Tokenomics working group of the GSF have awarded the following additional Validator node allocations for MainNet.

Note that there are more allocations awarded than available slots on MainNet. Receiving an allocation does not reserve a slot on MainNet; if a Validator does not join before the 450 cap, the Validator may need to wait for the next allocation to be announced before joining.

    Hello,
The Voting representatives in the Tokenomics working group of the GSF have awarded the following additional Validator node allocations for MainNet:

Please note that these allocations are associated with a total cap of 450 standalone Validator nodes on the network, separate from the 13 Validator nodes contained inside Super Validator nodes.

Receiving an allocation does not reserve a slot on MainNet; if a Validator does not join before the 450 cap, the Validator may need to wait for the next allocation to be announced.

    Hello,
The Voting representatives in the Tokenomics working group of the GSF have awarded the following additional Validator node allocations for MainNet.

Warning: The network will be limited to 550 Validators on MainNet in the near term while we prepare for major upcoming events. Validator scaling will resume at some point this year, but the timing is not yet known. You may find yourself in a situation where an allocation will have to wait until we clear above the 550 cap.
All NaaS providers have already demonstrated multi-tenant capability, so you can continue to onboard additional parties to each node without requesting new allocations, even while the validator count is capped. This ensures that onboarding activity can continue without interruption despite the temporary scaling limit.
Each validator can host up to 200 parties that are actively involved in per-round rewards activity. Beyond that, validators are also capable of supporting many thousands of additional parties that do not participate in rewards on a round-by-round basis. This distinction allows for flexibility in managing workloads while keeping the system balanced.
