FYI: Planned Digital Asset SVs reorg and related operational governance votes

   Digital Asset is planning two bigger changes to our SV deployments:

   
   

   Change 1: DA-1 will move to a new internal operator (the team that currently operates DA-2)

   • "Move" means: offboard current DA-1, onboard a new DA-1 (same name, different keys, empty state) under new ownership
   • We will shift all DA weight to DA-2 before the move, and redistribute 50-50 once complete
   • Main part of the move on DevNet planned for 2025-09-29/2025-09-30
   • Main part of the move on TestNet planned for 2025-10-06/2025-10-07
   • Main part of the move on MainNet planned for 2025-10-13/2025-10-14

   Change 2 (DevNet-only): Digital-Asset-Eng- SVs will be offboarded and decommissioned

   • Digital-Asset-Eng-2, Digital-Asset-Eng-3, and Digital-Asset-Eng-4
   • Planned to become effective on 2025-10-01

   In the next days and weeks you will see various vote requests from DA-2 that are required to make these changes possible. We thank all operators upfront for their patience and timely voting!

   We started a few operational votes on DevNet (shifting weights between DA SVs, offboarding DA SVs) and TestNet (shifting weights between DA SVs) in the past days that many operators voted on already. Many thanks for the support!
   
   Based on feedback I received I will now start writing updates to this thread whenever we start new votes to complete our reorg.
   
   Today we started a vote on TestNet, to offboard the current DA-1 at 2025-10-06 10:00 UTC;
