- SUPER VALIDATOR UPGRADE SCHEDULE CHANGESThe Super Validators voted today in favor of an accelerated upgrade schedule between now and October 30th.If you upgrade your Validator node on the recommended cadence on Monday / Tuesday every week, this change does not impact you. You'll see an updated operations schedule in this channel every Monday indicating which version you should adopt on DevNet, TestNet and MainNet.If however you have implemented automation to check the status of SV nodes, and upgrade automatically when your monitoring system sees 2/3 of the SV nodes adopt a new version of Splice, then you'll see a change in upgrading behavior.The newly adopted upgrade schedule follows:
Friday, October 17th
Super Validator nodes on TestNet upgrade to 0.4.20
Super Validator nodes on MainNet upgrade to 0.4.19
Splice team cuts release 0.4.21
Friday - Monday October 17th - October 20th
Super Validator nodes on DevNet upgrade to 0.4.21
Monday Oct 20:
Super Validator nodes on MainNet upgrade to 0.4.20, but Validators do not adopt 0.4.20
Validators on DevNet upgrade to 0.4.21 (as previously planned)
Validators on TestNet upgrade to 0.4.20 (as previously planned)
Validators on MainNet upgrade to 0.4.19 (as previously planned)
