    Hello all,

We from the DEC Institute have submitted a Development Fund proposal for a Canton Business Program (PR #609) and we are looking for a champion.

    **In short:**
Three sixty-minute modules taking a business audience from no prior knowledge to being able to put Canton to their own institution's risk, compliance, treasury and executive functions. Topics covered: Governance and Privacy / The Institutional Business Case / Economics, Risk and Adoption. Produced for the Foundation and assigned to it outright, source files included.

    **Why it is needed:**
The ecosystem's technical resources are strong. However, there is nothing equivalent for the person inside a financial institution who has to carry the proposition through internal review. They currently build that case from vendor material and press coverage. The program is intended as the front door to Canton for the business audience.

    **Who we are:**
A Swiss-based certification body co-founded with a consortium of leading universities including NUS, UBC, Frankfurt School and others, operating the CDAA and CBA professional charters through Pearson VUE and publish on edX to more than 8,500 learners. Our MiCA-focused certification programs are used by major financial institutions to conform with ESMA competence guidelines for CASP staff. We have delivered equivalent business-level programs for other enterprise Layer 1 foundations under the same ownership model.

If someone on the Tech & Ops Committee is willing to champion it, or would like a call to go through it first, I would be glad to hear from you.

    With best regards,
    Silvan Sperl
