canton-testkit: looking for feedback + a champion

- Hi everyone, Pablo from BootNode here.
Quick intro: BootNode is a software engineering team that’s been building in crypto since 2017. On Ethereum we’ve built and maintained tooling for teams like Safe, MakerDAO, Aave and Uniswap. On Canton we’ve been active for a while now: we built dAppBooster for Canton, the full-stack dApp starter, with Canton Development Fund support, and we have also contributed to the canton-network wallet repo.
We’ve been working on a few new proposals, and we’re currently looking for initial feedback and a champion for one of them: canton-testkit.
In a nutshell: canton-testkit is a library for testing Canton dApps end-to-end without automating the wallet’s UI. It talks to the Wallet Gateway’s user and dApp APIs and to the wallet SDK directly, so a test declares its parties in a config file, gets them created, registered, and funded, and then acts as any of them: propose, approve, reject, read the ledger. Same spirit as Forge on Ethereum, adapted for Parties, with a Wallet Gateway in the middle and a ledger you cannot roll back.
