MCP Server
Canton Network docs expose a public Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, so an AI agent can search and read this documentation directly instead of relying on training data or a generic web search.
URL:
Use the exact names when setting tool permissions in your client.
Any other MCP-compatible client (Goose, ChatGPT, and others) can connect the same way, pointing at the same URL.
https://docs.canton.network/mcp
Transport: HTTP. Authentication: none — the server is public and advertised through https://docs.canton.network/.well-known/mcp.json.
Tools
The server exposes three tools to a connected MCP client:| Tool | Name | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Search | search_canton_network_docs | Searches across the docs and returns relevant snippets with titles and links |
| Query docs filesystem | query_docs_filesystem_canton_network_docs | Reads and navigates the docs as a virtual filesystem using shell-style commands, including batch reads across multiple pages in one call |
| Submit feedback | submit_feedback | Reports a documentation issue back to the docs team when an agent finds a page that’s wrong |
