Summary

Canton Public RPC introduces a shared, permissionless infrastructure service providing standard RPC endpoints for the Canton Mainnet. Analogous to Infura or Alchemy on Ethereum, it eliminates the single largest bottleneck for developers: the requirement for a dedicated participant node. By providing production-ready RPC gateways and a JS/TS SDK, we allow any team to deploy Daml applications to Mainnet in minutes, rather than weeks.
