Summary
This proposal seeks to provide structured, analytics-ready access to Canton on-chain data (e.g. CSV, flat files, Parquet, etc), enabling institutional-grade analytics, BI, compliance, and research workflows similar to data platforms serving public blockchains. By ensuring fully verifiable data outputs, it addresses a critical infrastructure gap aligned with Canton’s enterprise and regulatory focus. The central challenge is designing an architecture that preserves Canton’s permissioned privacy model while delivering trustworthy, structured exports-creating a high-leverage foundation for the ecosystem if successfully implemented.
