Proposal: Performance-linked-asset-finance
Development Fund Proposal Submission
Proposal file: /proposals/performance-linked-asset-finance-reference-stack.md

Summary
This proposal requests Development Fund support for a reusable Canton reference stack for performance-linked asset finance, where trusted machine-originated operational data can drive financing, servicing, and settlement workflows. The project creates shared ecosystem value through a public reference architecture, proof-ingestion pattern, reference workflow, and Canton-side implementation that can be reused by other participants. The initial use case focuses on electric commercial fleets and adjacent physical asset-finance scenarios, while also creating a pathway for broader machine-mediated financial workflows.

Notes for Reviewers
This proposal is intended to contribute both technical and commercial value to the Canton ecosystem.
The grant-funded outputs are the reusable Canton-side architecture, workflow design, proof-ingestion pattern, reference implementation, and implementation guidance. The proposal does not request funding for proprietary Integritas product development.
Tenzro will act as Canton implementation partner and Minima subcontractor for Canton-side workflow and smart-contract development.
The initial use case is institutional asset finance, beginning with electric commercial fleets and adjacent physical asset-finance workflows. Beyond that initial wedge, the same reference pattern can support a broader class of machine-mediated financial workflows, where verified machine activity and autonomous system behavior trigger contractual, servicing, payment, or settlement events within institutionally suitable Canton-based environments.
