Summary
CantonTrace is a web-based debugging and security analysis platform for Canton Network and Daml smart contracts. It delivers capabilities absent from the ecosystem today: expression-level execution tracing through an instrumented Daml-LF Speedy interpreter, dual-path transaction simulation, automated static analysis with eight detection rules, Daml Script step-through debugging, performance profiling, structured error decoding, real-time event monitoring, contract lifecycle tracking, and privacy visualization. A functional prototype is available at cantontrace.com with source at github.com/justmert/cantontrace.
