Summary

C7 has built and published open-source TypeScript replacements for the deprecated @daml/ledger and @daml/react packages, targeting the Canton JSON Ledger API v2. This grant funds 12 months of maintenance, SDK version tracking, and community adoption work to establish these libraries as the supported TypeScript integration path for Canton application developers.

Notes for Reviewers

This proposal is for sustaining existing, working open-source libraries — not greenfield development. The packages are already published on npm and tracking Canton 3.4.x. We welcome all feedback and are eager for community engagement with this proposal and libraries.
