AEGIS is a policy-driven IP trust monitoring platform that strengthens the operational security and compliance posture of the Canton Network. It provides continuous monitoring of IP addresses interacting with Canton infrastructure, detects geopolitical and network-level drift, and maintains an auditable record of every trust decision — delivered as shared ecosystem infrastructure to reduce duplicated security engineering across Canton participants.

- A working deployment is already live at https://aegis.mpch.app — happy to provide reviewer access on request.
- Total request: 450,000 CC across 4 milestones (28 weeks). Volatility stipulation included per fund guidance for projects exceeding 6 months.
- Proposal directly addresses the Q2 "Security and Resilience" priority area and supports CIP-0056, CIP-0103, and CIP-0104.
