Summary

CantonNews is building an Ecosystem Intelligence Layer for Canton Network with two connected modules. The Governance Intelligence Module organizes public Canton governance activity into one searchable, source-linked hub covering CIPs, Development Fund proposals, validator and super validator activity, governance outcomes, weekly briefs, and monthly reports. The Wallet Activation Module helps Canton projects stop distributing incentives blindly by targeting offers toward wallets with real network activity and product fit, using a consent-based system where users connect wallets, opt in to communication, and receive relevant offers from verified Canton projects.

Notes for Reviewers

CantonNews is already live with an established Canton-focused audience and existing project relationships across the ecosystem. This grant accelerates an existing platform, not a new one. Canton Army brings a 13.6k Canton-focused community and direct relationships with multiple Canton projects currently live in the ecosystem, making the pilot targets realistic. The Governance Intelligence Module does not replace official Canton sources. It organizes public information and links back to originals as the source of truth. The Wallet Activation Module is consent-based, does not grant projects raw database access, and only shares contact details where users have explicitly opted in. Wallet scores are activity-based signals, not KYC or identity verification. The platform does not distribute tokens or airdrops and is designed as a targeted growth and discovery layer, not a farming tool.
