Summary

Canton Wiki is an institutional-grade public knowledge infrastructure proposal for the Canton Network: a neutral, source-backed, multilingual, machine-readable, and onchain-verifiable reference layer for projects, concepts, academy materials, source manifests, project attestations, public exports, and AI/search discovery.

It builds on the live Canton Wiki baseline with 150+ indexed projects across 17 categories and 67 learning guides. The proposal requests 1,500,000 CC for a six-month buildout, plus an optional 400,000 CC maintenance extension for post- grant operations.

• Canton Wiki is already live at https://canton.wiki; this proposal funds its evolution into maintained ecosystem knowl edge infrastructure, not a net-new content site.
• The proposal is scoped away from portfolio tracking, rewards calculators, paid ranking, paid editorial control, upvote directories, and gamification. It is intended to complement CCTools and similar activity products as a source-backed knowledge and data layer.
• Deliverables include canonical entity IDs, source manifests, review states, project attestation workflow, Daml-based provenance templates, public verifier, multilingual academy, public JSON/API exports, llms.txt, structured data, and transparency reporting.
• Team track record includes Autonomous Finance product and education work in the AO ecosystem, bridge infrastructure, Permaindex, and developer-facing tooling and education surfaces.
