Summary

This proposal introduces two products to the Canton ecosystem: 1. Console, a unified control plane for deploying and managing assets across multiple blockchain environments. 2. OneSig, a multichain transaction coordination and signing layer.

Together, they provide institutional asset issuers with a streamlined, production-grade interface for deploying on Canton, and executing cross-chain operations securely through a single approval flow. By reducing operational complexity and enabling consistent, auditable workflows across Canton, this infrastructure makes interoperability practical and scalable for institutional users.

Notes for Reviewers

This proposal builds on top of the existing LayerZero integration with Canton, which establishes the foundational interoperability layer between Canton and external blockchain networks. The proposed work extends that foundation by introducing operational infrastructure, including Console, and OneSig, enabling institutional asset issuers to deploy and manage interoperable assets through a unified workflow.
