Zebec Network proposes to build, open-source, and operate a production-grade streaming payroll and token vesting dApp on Canton, funded through the Development Fund. <br/> The Daml smart contracts will be released under Apache 2.0, the platform will run non-custodially, and the hosted dApp will be freely accessible to all Canton ecosystem participants with no integration fees. <br/> This delivers foundational financial infrastructure, with payroll settlement in USDCx and Canton Coin, token vesting for grant recipients and validators, and a closed-loop spend path via Zebec's Mastercard programme. <br/> This functionality is backed by Zebec's existing $500M+ annual payroll volume, 280+ enterprise clients, and confirmed Canton ecosystem partnerships, including Lattice Finance.

Notes for Reviewers

  • Performance-aligned grant structure. <br/>The base grant (857,000 CC / ~$120K) is tied to technical delivery and verifiable on-chain adoption milestones. Phase 3 (up to 928,500 CC / ~$130K) triggers only on public enterprise announcements and co-marketing deliverables, ensuring grant spend is directly aligned with ecosystem visibility and real adoption.
  • Proven multi-chain execution. <br/>Zebec has integrated 20 chains in its payments platform, including a recent Solana to Stellar/Soroban port of these same streaming primitives. A dedicated discovery and architecture phase is built into the timeline to de-risk the Daml learning curve.
  • Circle alignment on USDCx. <br/>Circle is a lead investor in Zebec, which closely aligns both parties on USDCx availability and adoption on Canton.
  • Significant in-kind contribution. <br/>Zebec is waiving all platform, SaaS, and per-employee fees for Canton users during the grant period (~$5,500/month in foregone revenue), and committing to a five-year minimum maintenance term at its own cost.
