Summary
While the dApp Standard (CIP-103) provides the orchestration layer for the Canton Network, the security of institutional assets rests entirely on the Signing Provider. This is aimed to be complimentary to the recently approved proposal for the Wallet Gateway. For Tier-1 financial institutions, "Clear Signing" is a prerequisite, but the ultimate requirement is Governance-Aware Signing.
