Development Fund Proposal Submission

Proposal file: /proposals/2026-06-AhoraCrypto-fiat-onramp.md

Summary

AhoraCrypto delivers the first licensed, MiCA-compliant fiat on/off-ramp natively integrated with Canton Network, made freely available to every ecosystem project with zero setup and integration fees for a minimum of 3 years. It closes the missing fiat boundary that today blocks Canton DeFi and RWA applications from onboarding EU retail and institutional users. The build extends live, EU-regulated infrastructure (MiCA licensed CASP Class II, Bank of Spain VASP D803) and delivers a public good through open API documentation, a reference settlement implementation, and shared compliance materials.
