Summary

FractiFi proposes an open-source Daml reference implementation of a 1:1-backed tokenized bank-deposit template on Canton (mint / redeem / transfer + on-ledger reserve attestation), porting a design already validated on Ethereum Sepolia into Canton-native Daml. It gives the ecosystem a documented, reusable reference for bank-grade deposit tokens with a live, auditable backing invariant.

Notes for Reviewers

Opened as a draft. FractiFi is finalizing (1) the exact funding figure, (2) the Canton receiving party ID, and (3) a SIG Champion before requesting review — early feedback on scope/fit for the token-asset-standards SIG is very welcome in the meantime. FractiFi operates a live Canton validator on DevNet and a public Ethereum Sepolia PoC (demo.fracti.fi).
