Summary
This proposal is submitted by an active Canton Network Validator (https://github.com/Validator-POSTHUMAN).
Proposal to integrate the Centrifuge community quest platform as a public good tool for the Canton ecosystem.
The platform enables structured learning and engagement for community members and is already proving effective for Canton.
Checklist
Notes for Reviewers
-
Centrifuge platform currently hosts several basic Canton quests with over 150 participants completing tasks even without formal announcements.
-
Participants from other projects can discover and join Canton-related quests, helping with adoption and community growth.
Proposal:
- Implement Centrifuge into Canton Ecosystem as a public good community platform, giving Canton full control of quests and pages, manageable upon request by the Canton team (if necessary)
- Prepare Centrifuge platform for integration with wallets used across the Canton ecosystem.
- A prize fund can be allocated and a community sprint can begin after approval from the Canton team
Technical Approach
- Integrate Canton wallets into Centrifuge platform for seamless connection.
- Set up official Canton project page with necessary quests.
- Ensure moderation and administrative rights for the Canton team to control content (if necessary) or the Posthuman team can take this upon themselves and their responsibility.
- Use milestone tracking to monitor community engagement and completion rates.
Milestones and Deliverables
- Milestone 1: Platform integration with Canton wallets – 2 weeks
- Milestone 2: Official Canton project page live with all necessary quests – 1 weeks
- Milestone 3: Launching of Community sprint with prize pool – 1 weeks
- Milestone 4: Review and adjust based on participation metrics – 3 months
Acceptance Criteria
- Canton project page active and fully manageable by Canton team(if necessary) or the Posthuman team can take this upon themselves and their responsibility.
- Initial quests created and accessible to community
- Prize pool distributed after successful sprint completion
- Minimum 150 participants engaged within the first sprint
Funding Request and Milestone Breakdown
Milestone 1: Platform integration – 50,000 CC
Deliverable: Implement 5-10 differnet Canton wallets into Centrifuge
Acceptance Criteria: Platform is ready for Canton, users can connect to Centrifuge with many different wallets for Canton
Milestone 2-3: Official Canton project page and Launching of Community sprint – 24,000 CC
Deliverable: Create the official Canton project page with minimum 30 different quests and tasks, that are moderated by minimum 3 persons.
Launch of community sprint with quests and prize pool.
Acceptance Criteria:
- Users can take quests and tasks, solve them, and the results will be checked autmatically or manully
- If participants ≤ 5,000 → prize pool for 3 month = 50,000 CC
- If participants 5,001–10,000 → prize pool for 3 month = 100,000 CC
- If participants 10,001–15,000 → prize pool for 3 month = 150,000 CC
- Scaling continues proportionally based on engagement
Milestone 4: Review and adjust based on participation metrics - 60,000 CC
Deliverable: 3 persons will admin and moderate 3-month sprint, checking results for manual quests and tasks, filter multi-accounts, provide reports and adding new quests and tasks based on developing of campaign
Acceptance Criteria: After finishing of manual quest and task, results wll be checked less than in 12 hours, users will be informed about accepting or declining of the result with detailed comments.
During the 3-month community sprint the following measurable ecosystem growth targets are anticipated:
- 1,000+ new users onboarded to the Canton ecosystem through the Centrifuge platform
- 200+ educational or promotional videos created by participants about Canton tools, infrastructure, and ecosystem projects
- 3,000+ on-chain interactions and transactions generated by participants using Canton wallets, applications, or ecosystem tools
- 1,500+ completed quests and tasks
- 100+ educational threads, articles, or social media posts
- These activities are expected to contribute to broader ecosystem awareness, user onboarding, and organic growth of the Canton community.
All multi-accounts will be filtered and marked as multi-accounts, and rewards from prize pool will not be distributed to multi-accounts or to people who will try to organize sybil-attack.
Note:
• This approach ensures that the reward pool dynamically reflects community participation, incentivizes wider engagement, and provides the Canton team with the ability to manage the platform, modify quests, and adjust the prize pool as needed.
• Centrifuge has anti-sybil protection and multi-account resistent
Architectural Alignment
- The Centrifuge platform aligns with Canton’s goal of community engagement and ecosystem growth by providing a structured environment for onboarding, learning, and participation.
- Encourages cross-project visibility and adoption of the Canton network by allowing participants from other blockchain projects to discover Canton quests, engage with content, and join the community seamlessly.
- Supports educational initiatives by offering guided quests and tutorials, helping new users understand Canton’s ecosystem, tools, and protocols.
- Fosters community-driven participation, where members can contribute, complete tasks, and earn rewards, strengthening long-term engagement and loyalty.
- Enhances ecosystem cohesion by connecting validators, developers, and community members in a shared interactive environment, facilitating collaboration and feedback for future protocol improvements.
