Summary

This proposal funds a DAML NFT standard for Canton: a new CIP defining an NFT profile on Token Standard V2 (CIP-0056 / CIP-0112). The profile adds stable per-item identity, collection uniqueness, per-item metadata, provenance, privacy rules, and whole-asset (including soulbound) lifecycle invariants. Transferable NFTs use the standard V2 transfer rail; this proposal defines no second transfer protocol. Fairmint's SEC-registered Transfer Agent will issue production equity certificates on the standard as the first end-to-end reference design.
