Summary

  • Currently, no composable DeFi primitives exist on Canton. Any team that wants to build vaults, liquidity pools, AMMs, and other DeFi products need to build all of these from scratch, which means incompatible implementations, fragmented liquidity, increased contract vulnerabilities and wasted dev hours/funds.
  • We are proposing several primitives such as modules for Vaults, Swaps, Pricing engines and oracles, which can used as building blocks to build more complex products such as RFQ desks, Securities AMMs, Money Markets, Tranched structured products and so on...
  • Our stack would unlock the emergence of a robust, secure and composable financial products ecosystem. This would thereby increase liquidity and adoption of the Canton blockchain and improve smart contract security.
