Summary
This amendment requests a single change to Grant 1: extending the Milestone 3 (Ecosystem Adoption) estimated delivery from "Up to 3 months after Milestone 1 completion" to "Up to 9 months after Milestone 1 completion". All other Milestone 3 terms - acceptance criteria, funding allocation (3,500,000 CC), and adopter requirements - remain unchanged.
Adoption is on-plan but not on-schedule. Multiple teams are actively building against the open-source Decentralization Manager, but the migrate-then-go-live cycle for third-party parties on Canton MainNet takes longer in practice than the original 3-month estimate anticipated. Reaching the acceptance-criteria bar of two non-BitSafe production applications with live on-chain governance activity requires each adopter to complete integration, security review, and production cutover - none of which compress well.
We are not requesting a change to the total amount of funding or any other terms of Grant 1.

This is a timeline-only amendment. Milestone 3 acceptance criteria (5 non-BitSafe production adopters with live on-chain governance activity on Canton MainNet) are preserved verbatim. The 6-month extension gives adopter teams the runway they need to complete integration and production cutover without compromising the adoption bar.
