Development Fund proposal for the reference implementation of the Canton Imported Names CIP (canton-foundation/cips PR #249) — the Decentralized DNS Name Importer.
Companion to PR #60 (Canton Party Name Resolution Standard - Reference Implementation), one proposal per PR. Design phase donated (PR #249, accounted once in the Resolution grant, not double-counted here). Funded scope: DNS importer on TestNet (C2), production hardening and attestor-mode packaging (C3). Total request 714,285 CC (~$110,000 at 1 CC = $0.1540, to be re-confirmed at submission rate).
Ongoing importer operations are not funded by this grant: operating costs sit with operators under the registry economics.
