CIP-0021: Create a subgroup of the Super Validators (“SV”) to vet and vote on making the Featured Application designation for network applications. Call this subgroup the Featured Application and Validator Committee (“FAV-C”).

The Canton Improvement Proposal (CIP) aims to establish a subgroup of Super Validators called the Featured Application and Validator Committee (FAV-C) to review and vote on applications for the Featured Application designation. This subgroup will consolidate the Validator Committee and its functions, and will be responsible for establishing processes for becoming a Featured Application and making binding decisions regarding Featured Application designations. The FAV-C will operate with a limited size for efficiency purposes and will be subject to review and voting via standard governance mechanisms at least every 12 months.
