Summary

Getting a DAR onto every participant that hosts a party is done by hand today, node by node, over chat, and a missed node fails silently, because Canton propagates vetting metadata but never the package itself. CantonVet is an open-source service (Rust, Apache-2.0) run by a validator operator: a developer publishes once with scoped credentials, automated checks run, the operator approves in one place, and the service uploads and vets on every participant hosting the relevant parties, reports drift, and offers an on-demand pre-flight that tells an application whether a command will interpret on every host. It delivers the approval, installation and upgrading that RFP 3 asks for, and consumes the funded metadata, provenance and analysis work rather than repeating it.
