CIP-0006: Define the process of distributing and approving

CIP-0006 establishes a temporary process for allocating the initial 200 Validator rights and approving applications for MainNet launch, delegating this responsibility to a 3-person Super Validator Council (SVC) working group until the Foundation is operational. It also defines conditions and a process for revoking Validator rights due to inactivity. CIP-0007 proposes an incentive mechanism where Super Validators (SVs) can earn additional reward weight and are allocated a specific number of Validator rights for successfully onboarding new Validators and applications to the Canton Network within the first 12 months post-MainNet launch.
