CIP 0088 proposes adding Nuva as a Super Validator (SV) on the Canton Network with a weight of 3, aiming to bring a large user base of 2,000,000+ wallets from Animoca Brands' community. Nuva's integration with Canton will enable users to deposit and withdraw stablecoins from tokenized real-world assets, providing yield and liquidity. The successful integration and adoption of Nuva on Canton will result in a reward of up to 3 SV weight, with additional bonuses for TVL and user adoption.

This CIP defines the Canton Network's name resolution layer, establishing how applications translate human-readable names into Canton Party IDs and retrieve associated metadata. It introduces the Fully Qualified Party Name (FQPN) format, a generic Resolver Interface for identity providers, and a Resolution Strategy for configuring resolver order and weights, along with a Composition Engine to merge results and detect collisions. The proposal standardizes on-ledger name registrations as CN Credentials, outlines a three-layer display model for resolved names, and specifies an off-ledger Resolution Service API, while deferring trust verification, external name imports, and native `.canton` naming to other CIPs.

This CIP standardizes a portable representation for party profile metadata on the Canton Network, building on the Canton Network Credentials Standard. It defines standard claim keys for common profile information like display name, avatar, and website, along with an application-side interpretation model for consistent UI rendering. The profile claims are informational only and must not be used for identity verification or name resolution, aiming to improve user experience and interoperability across Canton applications.

CIP XXXX proposes adding LECCA Ventures, a crypto-native VC in Korea, as a Weight 1 Steward Validator to facilitate the onboarding of Korean financial institutions to the Canton Network. LECCA will establish a Validator-as-a-Service offering with Korean-language resources and aims to onboard at least one Korean financial institution to mainnet within 180 days of CIP approval. This initiative seeks to capitalize on Korea's active digital asset market and regulatory momentum to drive institutional adoption and expand the network's global reach.
