Weighted Validator Liveness Rewards for SV-Chosen Parties
This Canton Improvement Proposal (CIP 0073) extends validator liveness rewards to arbitrary parties, allowing multiple parties to share a single validator while providing weighted rewards based on governance-defined weights. The proposal enables external parties to authorize any party to automatically submit minting transactions on their behalf, promoting network contribution and success. This CIP enhances the Canton network's tokenomics and governance capabilities.

#00082
Update and Refinement to CIP-0002
CIP-0008 proposes to double the amount of free traffic available on DevNet by increasing the "burst amount" within the free traffic window. This adjustment is necessary because the current free traffic allocation, set by CIP-0002, is insufficient for application developers and new validators to complete essential transactions like purchasing additional traffic. The change aims to facilitate development and network participation without entirely eliminating the need for users to manage a traffic balance.

#00071
SVs can earn extra SV reward weight when bringing Validators or apps to the Canton Network
CIP-0006 establishes a temporary process for allocating the initial 200 Validator rights and approving applications for MainNet launch, delegating these responsibilities to a 3-person Super Validator Council (SVC) working group until the Foundation is operational. It also defines conditions and a process for revoking Validator rights if they remain inactive. CIP-0007 incentivizes Super Validators (SVs) to onboard new Validators and applications by allocating additional Validator rights based on their tier and offering extra SV reward weight for successful referrals. This aims to bootstrap the early ecosystem by leveraging SVs for network growth and adoption.

#00022
Minor adjustments to the Tokenomics variables to fine tune BME tokenomics
CIP 0001 proposes to remove the time-based delays for Super Validator (SV) tiers, allowing all qualified SVs to operate from day one. This aims to increase the number of active validators at launch, enhancing network robustness and decentralization. The proposal introduces a weighted reward mechanism to differentiate earnings across tiers, replacing the previous time-delay system.
